Greg is a registered pharmacist with 25 years pharmacy practice experience. He has been a shareholder in a retail pharmacy that works with a number of aged and community care facilities. He was involved in the initial implementation of pharmacy robotic packaging into New Zealand and as well as pharmacy ownership, Greg and the team have developed Medi-Map – a NZ and Australia based solution for Aged Care with Electronic charting of medication, Administration, Audit and reporting, moving the sector from a heavy reliance on paper based systems to a fully integrated e-Health solution.
Greg has been a previous member of HISO (Health Information Standards Organization) with the Ministry of Health in NZ and works with regulators on how medicine management in primary care can become more digitally enabled.

Julie Garratt MPS

Julie is a registered pharmacist with over 25 years experience working in and owning community pharmacies. As a pharmacist she has been involved in providing quality pharmacy services to Aged Care and community care organisations while having a strong understanding or risk management, audit and compliance requirements.
Julie bridges the gap between users and developers to ensure Medi-Map remains a user friendly and functional solution, not just another piece of software.

Medi-Map has enabled Julie to combine her two passions of teaching and being a part of a health software team focused on patient centred care.
Julie works within the primary healthcare system with aged care facility staff, prescribers and pharmacists in the use and implementation of Medi-Map and the provision of clinical support.

Chris Parmenter

Chris Parmenter

Senior Software Engineer & Lead Medi-Map developer and Founding partner. Member of the Board

Chris is a Software Developer graduating from Otago University 2010 with a BSc majoring in computer science (and a minor in information science). He has spent his time since graduating developing various I.T. solutions for multiple companies eventually settling into Medi-Map in 2012. He manages a team of developers in the Christchurch office and is responsible for the future development and IT management of the Medi-Map product.

Matt Blackwell

Matt has over 20 years’ experience in financial markets, derivatives trading and sales management. Matt returned to New Zealand in mid-2014 following 13 years abroad, the last 10 years in Singapore where he was responsible for Institutional Sales and Distribution across the Asia region for Deutsche Bank. Matt’s experience in cross boarder marketing of complex products, risk and financial management will assist Medi-Map in its future expansion plans both domestically and globally.

Matt joined the Board in mid-2015 to focus on Risk Management, Finance & Marketing and Business Development in conjunction with the Board.

 

Christelle Ucinek

Australia Group General Manager

Christelle is a registered pharmacist with 9 years experience working in community pharmacy and providing pharmacy services to Aged Care Facilities. As a pharmacist with a solid aged care background she has an understanding and experience, required by health care professionals in delivering optimal health outcomes to residents.

Medi-Map has enabled Christelle to combine her knowledge of aged care with innovative technology to help create a new standard for the delivery of medication management, in line with best practice.
Christelle works within the primary healthcare system with aged care facilities, general practitioners and pharmacists in the use and implementation of Medi-Map.

Kerry Youngman

Kerry Youngman

Medi-Map NZ Project Manager and Clinical Support

Kerry is a registered Anaesthetic Technician with over 12 years’ experience working in the hospital setting both in New Zealand and the UK. Whilst working clinically Kerry was heavily involved in teaching and assessing healthcare practitioners. Kerry has a particular interest in communication in healthcare and having previously worked in the IT industry understands the role technology can play.
Medi-Map brings together Kerry’s clinical and communications skills to help our users provide the highest level of care, following best practice whilst keeping the focus on patient.
Kerry provides clinical support to care facility staff, prescribers and pharmacists in the use and implementation of Medi-Map.

Paul Hilton

Medi-Map Chief Technical Officer NZ and AU

Paul started as Medi-Map’s Chief Technology Officer in September 2019. As CTO Paul is responsible for leading the strategy, resources and capability of all technology services used and delivered by Medi-Map internationally.

Prior to joining Medi-Map, Paul had over 20 years of experience in both technical and operational management roles, with expertise managing staff and process within public and private organisations. Equally comfortable working with domain experts, C-Level colleagues and customers, Paul’s appetite for constant improvement has been a driving force in each of his roles.

Paul started his career in 1997 when he was chosen by Barclay Capital for a place on their IT graduate programme as an Analyst Programmer. After completing the programme he was immediately promoted to IT Manager, running his own team within a very fast moving Commodities investment banking business.

Paul has a Bachelor of Commerce & Management with an Applied Computing major from Lincoln University.
